General Provisions
Article 1 — Scope
Travel contracts concluded between the Company and travellers shall be governed by these Terms. Matters not provided herein shall be governed by applicable laws or generally established customs.
Article 2 — Definitions
Terms used in these Terms have the following meanings:
- "Package Travel": travel for which the Company prepares the itinerary in advance, comprising "Recruitment-type Package Travel" and "Customised Package Travel".
- "Recruitment-type Package Travel": travel for which the Company recruits participants for a fixed fee (e.g., package tours).
- "Customised Package Travel": travel for which the itinerary is created at the Customer's request (bespoke travel, custom tours, MICE, educational tours, etc.).
- "Arranged Travel": travel for which the Company arranges travel services such as transport, accommodation, and experiences at the Customer's request.
- "Domestic Travel": travel solely within Japan.
- "Overseas Travel": travel other than Domestic Travel.
Recruitment-type Package Travel Contracts
The Company currently does not offer Recruitment-type Package Travel; however, the section is retained for industry-standard reference. Should we offer such travel in future, separate provisions will be prepared and published in accordance with the corresponding part of the Standard Travel Agency Terms.
Customised Package Travel Contracts
Chapter 1 — General Provisions
Article 1 — Scope
This Part applies to contracts for travel (the "Order-Made Package Tour") for which the Company prepares and operates an itinerary at the Customer's request.
Article 2 — Definitions
"Plan Document" means a document or electronic data prepared by the Company at the Customer's request setting out the itinerary, fees and conditions.
Chapter 2 — Formation of Contract
Article 3 — Application
A Customer wishing to conclude an Order-Made Package Tour Contract shall complete the Company's prescribed application form and submit it together with the application deposit. Where the Customer notifies the Company of an intent to apply by telephone, post, fax, email or other means, the application shall be treated as a reservation from the time the Company communicates acceptance.
Article 4 — Refusal to Contract
The Company may decline to enter into an Order-Made Package Tour Contract in any of the following cases:
- For business reasons of the Company.
- When the Customer is identified as a member of organised crime or associated antisocial forces.
- When the Customer may cause inconvenience to other customers or the Company, or impede the smooth conduct of group activities.
- When there is reasonable ground to believe the Customer cannot complete the trip due to personal circumstances.
- In any other case the Company considers inappropriate for performance or contracting.
Article 5 — Time of Formation
An Order-Made Package Tour Contract is formed when the Company accepts the contract and receives the application deposit. The deposit shall be treated as part of the tour fee or as cancellation charges.
Article 6 — Issuance of Contract Document
Promptly after contract formation, the Company shall deliver to the Customer a contract document setting out the itinerary, travel services, tour fee and other terms.
Chapter 3 — Modification of Contract
Article 7 — Modification of Contents
The Customer and the Company may modify the contract by mutual agreement. For modifications not attributable to the Company's fault and based on the Customer's request, related costs shall be added to the tour fee.
Article 8 — Modification of Tour Fee
Where the tour fee changes due to revision of transport / accommodation fees, currency-rate fluctuations, or modification of contract contents, the Company shall notify the Customer of the revised fee and obtain consent.
Chapter 4 — Termination of Contract
Article 9 — Customer's Right of Termination (Before Departure)
The Customer may terminate the Order-Made Package Tour Contract at any time by paying the cancellation charges below.

Article 10 — Customer's Termination (After Departure)
If the Customer terminates the trip after departure due to personal reasons, the Company has no obligation to refund any portion of unused travel services.
Article 11 — Company's Termination (Before Departure)
In any of the following cases, the Company may terminate the contract before departure after explaining the reasons. No cancellation charges shall apply.
- The Customer fails to pay the application deposit or tour fee by the specified date.
- The Company determines that the Customer's age, health or condition makes safe travel difficult.
- Due to natural disaster, war, riot, suspension of transport / accommodation services, government order or other force majeure, safe and orderly implementation of the contracted trip becomes impossible or extremely likely to be so.
Article 12 — Company's Termination (After Departure)
In any of the following cases, even after departure, the Company may suspend part or all of the trip. The Customer shall bear the cost of travel services already provided.
- The Customer fails to follow Company instructions or disrupts group discipline, impeding safe and orderly travel.
- Due to natural disaster, war, riot, suspension of transport / accommodation services, government order or other force majeure, safe and orderly travel becomes impossible.
Article 13 — Cancellation Rules — Special Cases
The cancellation rules in this Chapter 4 are superseded by any separate agreement between the Customer and the Company (e.g., corporate MICE).
Chapter 5 — Group Contracts
Article 14 — Application
Where multiple Customers travelling on the same itinerary appoint a responsible representative (the "Contract Representative") to apply, these Terms apply with the Representative as counterparty.
Article 15 — Contract Representative
The Contract Representative is deemed to have full agency authority over the rights and obligations of all Customers in the group, and the Company shall communicate notices to the Representative.
Chapter 6 — Itinerary Management
Article 16 — Company's Management Duty
The Company shall perform the duties necessary for safe and orderly travel, including confirmation of services and rearrangements when the itinerary changes.
Article 17 — Persons Performing Itinerary Management
In line with the nature of the trip, the Company performs itinerary management through tour conductors, local staff, local arrangement agents, or representatives.
Chapter 7 — Liability
Article 18 — Company's Liability
In performance of this travel contract, the Company shall be liable for damage caused to the Customer by willful misconduct or negligence of the Company or its arrangement-agent, provided notice is given to the Company within two years from the day after the damage arose.
Article 19 — Special Compensation
For certain damage to the Customer's body, life or baggage caused by sudden, accidental external events during participation in an Order-Made Package Tour, the Company shall pay compensation and consolation money in accordance with the Special Compensation Rules.
Chapter 8 — Compensation Payments
Article 20 — Itinerary Guarantee
Where important matters set out in the contract document are changed for reasons not attributable to the Company's fault, the Company shall pay change compensation. Details are set out in the separately prescribed Itinerary Guarantee Rules.
Travel Arrangement Contracts
Chapter 1 — General Provisions
Article 1 — Scope
This Part applies to contracts under which, at the Customer's request, the Company arranges individual travel services such as transport, accommodation, experiences and tickets (the "Travel Arrangement Contract").
Article 2 — Conclusion of Arrangement Obligation
The Company is deemed to have performed its arrangement obligation upon completion of reservations / arrangements for the requested travel services. The Company does not undertake the provision of the travel services themselves.
Chapter 2 — Formation of Contract
Article 3 — Application
A Customer wishing to conclude a Travel Arrangement Contract shall complete the Company's prescribed application form and submit it together with the application deposit.
Article 4 — Time of Formation
A Travel Arrangement Contract is formed when the Company accepts the contract and receives the application deposit.
Article 5 — Tour Fee
The tour fee includes the fares and charges for the requested travel services, travel-related expenses, and the Company's arrangement fee.
Chapter 3 — Modification of Contract
Article 6 — Modification of Contents
When the contract is modified at the Customer's request, the Company may charge the Customer the modification fee and additional costs incurred.
Chapter 4 — Termination of Contract
Article 7 — Customer's Right of Termination
The Customer may terminate all or part of the Travel Arrangement Contract at any time upon payment of the following costs:
- Fees for travel services already provided by the Company.
- Cancellation charges, penalties and other expenses payable by the Company.
- The Company's arrangement fee (in full or in part, depending on stage of arrangement).
Article 8 — Company's Right of Termination
The Company may terminate the Travel Arrangement Contract if the Customer fails to pay the application deposit or tour fee by the specified date, or if continued arrangement becomes extremely difficult.
Article 9 — Cancellation Rules
Cancellation charges for the Travel Arrangement Contract follow the rules of each travel-service provider. Specific cancellation rates will be advised separately in writing at contract formation.
Chapter 5 — Tour Fee
Article 10 — Tour Fee
The Customer shall pay the tour fee to the Company by the date specified by the Company.
Article 11 — Settlement of Tour Fee
Where, after contract formation, fares / charges payable to travel-service providers substantially change due to currency-rate fluctuations, fuel-surcharge revisions or other circumstances, the Company shall settle the tour fee with the Customer's consent.
Chapter 6 — Liability and Disclaimer
Article 12 — Company's Liability
In performance of its arrangement obligation, the Company shall be liable for damage caused to the Customer by willful misconduct or negligence of the Company or its arrangement-agent.
Article 13 — Disclaimer
In respect of travel services arranged under a Travel Arrangement Contract, the Company is not liable for disputes / damage arising between the Customer and the travel-service provider, unless attributable to the Company's fault.
Travel Procedure Agency Contracts
On a Customer's request, the Company may act as agent for passport applications / renewals, visa applications / renewals, preparation of immigration documents and similar procedures. This Part applies to such Travel Procedure Agency Contracts. Agency fees, required documents, and processing time will be advised on a case-by-case basis.
A Travel Procedure Agency Contract is not a contract between the Customer and any embassy, consulate, or public authority; the Company merely acts as agent for the Customer. The Company does not guarantee outcomes (e.g., visa approval).
Travel Consultation Contracts
At the Customer's request, the Company may provide consultations on travel plans, prepare quotations, and supply travel information. This Part applies to such Travel Consultation Contracts. Consultation fees and the scope of services will be advised on a case-by-case basis.
When only a Travel Consultation Contract has been concluded, the Company has no obligation to arrange travel services. If the Customer subsequently requests arrangement, a Customised Package Travel Contract or Travel Arrangement Contract will be separately concluded.
