Rooted in Osaka and Kansai, we craft journeys that meet Japan's true face — beyond the crowds. We work with you directly in Japanese, English and Chinese, and directly with the makers on the ground, with no one in between. Through bespoke, small-group design, we take bookings from the Americas, Europe, Greater China, Singapore, Southeast Asia and Oceania, and lead them to the Japan still off the map.

VISION
Where travellers walk, local craft keeps working.
Across Japan there are crafts with fewer and fewer hands to carry them on, and small towns few travellers reach. We go to those places, and build into each itinerary time spent working with your own hands alongside the makers there. You leave with a day no one else has had; the town gains work worth doing. With every itinerary we build, something flows back to that place — that circulation is what we want to see.
MISSION
Putting experience back at the centre of the journey.
Most journeys to Japan are assembled from three things — a room, a vehicle, a meal. All are necessary, and none of them, on its own, leaves behind more than a record of having been there. We design from five instead: taste, stay, journey, view, and above all touch. What sits at the centre is not where you stayed, but what you carry home.
